I don’t think I could get the opportunity to work with sweeter people! Last week I drove above Fort Wayne to meet the ever adorable Olivia + Austen for their woodsy engagement session on his family’s land. We had perfectly crisp weather (thank you to the rain for holding off for us!) and autumn leaves just starting to peak (see what I did there? #puns) through. Thanks for spending your evening adventuring with me!
I spent a day watching these two precious people become husband and wife! Cortney and Mitch may have been married on one of the hottest days of the fall (summer?) but the temperature had nothing on their joy of becoming one. Their day was filled with people who adore them, lots of happy laughter and some of the cutest pups around! They were married in the gardens of the beautiful Goeglein’s event center with their reception following upstairs. On the way to the ceremony we spotted the most stunning row of trees that we just knew we had to come back to for couples pictures. The owner was sweet enough to let us use his yard! You two are seriously a dream. Here’s a little preview. Thank you x1000 for inviting me into your day!
I met Kelsey and Mark for the first time a couple of weeks ago and we instantly clicked. As a photographer that’s one of the best things I could ask for! I don’t just want to show up and take pretty pictures, I want to build relationships. We met up at Eagle Creek Park beach with storm clouds floating in the distance. We took to the shore of the beach skipping through the water, slow dancing and sticking our toes in the sand. These two easily fell into one another’s arms and we’re so incredibly fun to photograph. They have the goofiest, quirkiest and more adorable love and I would have stood in the rain for another hour to photograph them. I’m so excited for their wedding next year!
Last month, I photographed Elana + Juan as they tied the knot as husband and wife! All I can say is how utterly kind, loving and straight up stylin’ these two are. They were married in downtown Fort Wayne at the Cathedral and ventured to party at the Embassy Ballroom for their reception! Seriously, could they be any more adorable? I love working with details on the morning of the wedding and Elana’s dress (and shoes and everything else) were just STUNNING! My assistant and I found a really cool door near the Embassy that were so excited to use as a backdrop for her details! I’m pretty sure all of the people walking by thought we were a little crazy but it was beyond worth it. Elana + Juan were surrounded by so many people who love them and their day couldn’t have been more beautiful. Congratulations you two! I’m honored to have been part of your day!
Ps- Juan made me try Gouda cheese dip before the reception and now I’m hooked. Thanks! 😉

A large part of my shooting style is based off of my connection with the couple I’m working with. When we feel like old friends and when you just click- we have the opportunity to really create something beautiful together. I met Alex and Cody through a bible study last fall. I can’t describe to you how refreshing and authentic and fun they are. Their love and care for one another is so obviously apparent. Plus, they are just plain STUNNING together! When they asked me to be there photographer I may be done a few happy dances 😉
Thank you for being wonderful people and I can’t wait to travel to Colorado with you to document your big day!
I can’t believe my sister is a SENIOR! She is one of the sweetest and deepest souls. I love her to pieces. I’m trying to convince her to come to Ball State next year! We spent her session exploring downtown Muncie and all of the beauty it has to offer.
