I had two adventurous souls in front of my camera last week! They climbed over a huge pile of brush, rocks and sticks to get to this incredible spot under the McCullough bridge. They embraced each other in the windy weather and walked hand and hand along the river. These are my kinda people and I loved documenting their engagement session <3 Sessions like these are life giving to the heart! Congratulations on your engagement Sera + Caleb!
You know you’ve just had an amazing session when you run home to edit right away! Holy wow. Having good (and adorably engaged) friends in front your camera is the BEST. Kirsten and Taylor are basically the definition of style and sass. Thanks for completely trusting me, letting me test a bunch of fun posing on you and for sitting on the edge of a really tall parking garage. You two are some of my favorites ❤
I can’t wait for their May wedding!
I made my way down to Indy last week to meet Kristen + Sam for their engagement session. These two are warm, kind and so adorable together! I might have gotten a little excited to shoot in front of the salmon colored walls and don’t even get me started on how gorgeous walking along the canal is. Thanks for spending your evening with me!
When you’ve been apart for 6 months and nothing is sweeter than being together. *Cue my tears*. I’ve known these two since Brynn was an itty bitty college student and now an engagement session, wedding and season of military training later here are are again. These two are getting ready to move to Florida where Logan is being stationed but I’m so glad we were able to shoot together before they left! I’m sure one day well shoot on the beach together! 😉 For their first outfit Brynn had the idea of slipping back into their wedding attire and I couldn’t have been more excited! We played in the Garfield Park gardens and finished around sunset in Lockerbie Historic District. These two are one of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Love you guys!
I’m a huge believer in marriage. Pinterest boards, pretty dresses and all of the little details that going into wedding planning are incredibly exciting but nothing compares to the relationship you’re celebrating. The why. Strong relationships are built to be sturdy in the small moment and choosing to love one another daily through the mundane. I feel so honored that incredible people choose to invite me into some of their happiest and utterly emotional moments. However, sometimes I even get to continue past the alter. Joining alongside couples with their big milestones are so precious to me. I’ve gotten to photograph photograph KayAnn + Ethan for their engagement, wedding and now two year wedding anniversary and I couldn’t be happier! These two have the most joyful, tender and giggly love for one another. Thanks for exploring with me last night you guys!
Last week, I traveled up to Chain O’ Lakes State Park to explore with these two cuties! We ventured through marsh lands, slopes in the forest and through the most beautiful field of wildflowers at sunset. It was the most stunning evening! This session was really fun in particular because we were able to split our time into a partial senior session for Alyssa and also a couples session in celebration of her and Randy’s three year dating anniversary! What a sweet time and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it!
